Hablemos de Lituania¨ hecha por ¨Invertir en Lituania¨, la agencia lituana de promoción de inversiones, ha sido reconocida en los premios de marketing de la Password 2014 como el mejor proyecto de desarrollo de marca de sector público y comunicación en Lituania.

The brand building campaign “We speak fluent business. Let’s talk Lithuania” by Invest Lithuania, the Lithuanian investment promotion agency, has been recognised at the Password 2014 marketing awards as the best public sector branding and communication project in Lithuania.

The winning campaign approached communication between the public sector agency and the investment community with an entirely new tone of voice. “Despite having a number of valuable advantages for developing business, Lithuania was rarely considered as a potential investment location. We had to find a way to talk with businesses in another language, a language they would understand. This is how the ‘We speak fluent business’ concept came about”, acting Director of Invest Lithuania Arvydas Arnašius said. “We realised that our partners can best describe who we are and what solutions we can provide, so we used their stories about Lithuania; and at the same time this process worked as a bond to create a close business community. This award crowns the work of our entire team in creating the brand of the agency and working with existing and potential investors in the Lithuanian economy”.

One of the features of the campaign was the video “A country as ambitious as you are”. According to Invest Lithuania, most business consultants, as well as private and diplomatic representatives, use this video to present Lithuania abroad. The video was an instant hit; views on youtube rocketed to 108,000 within 24 hours, and it has been viewed more than 225,000 to date. It is far more popular than any video produced by the investment development agencies of neighbouring countries.

“We developed the content of the video by talking with our current investors about what matters most to them. We decided to capture real people in their actual, everyday working environments. In many cases, there was a gap of just a few hours between an invitation to shoot a video and the actual filming. Eventually, this process supported the main point of what Lithuania is, the nature of people who alert, dynamic and make things happen fast”, Agnė Selemonaitė, Invest Lithuania brand manager, said. The video features C-level company representatives and employees from foreign companies established in Lithuania (including Barclays, Thermofisher and 52 other companies), along with students and scientists.
